Duckling Day Parade on Sunday is the Perfect Mother's Day Event

Give your mom the gift of spending time with the family, and taking photos of cute kids!

Sunday is Mother's Day, which means it's also time for the annual in the Boston Common.

Harvard University Band will lead parents and children through the streets of Beacon Hill as they retrace the steps of the beloved characters from the classic children's story Make Way for Ducklings. Don your favorite duck costume as we follow Mr. and Mrs. Mallard and their family of eight ducklings, ending in the Public Garden near the famous ducking sculptures.

Prior to the parade there will be plenty of family entertainment including a face painter, balloon artist and a magician.  At the end of the parade and actors from the Wheelock Family Theater will do a dramatic reading from the book.
