South End Youth Learn Lessons in Videography

Thirteen young residents of Camfield Estates – a 102-unit South End apartment community managed by full-service real estate firm Peabody Properties – recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in a unique videography program.

Camfield Estates teamed up with WeCast Productions – an internet video production company – to launch The Forever Ink Project.  With the help of the WeCast Productions staff, the South End residents spent two nights per week writing, producing, shooting and editing three exclusive videos.  Through this eighteen week partnership with WeCast Productions, the teens learned about the many steps involved in making a video – from writing a script to perfecting their acting techniques to running the cameras.

According to Camfield Estates Tenants Association Board of Directors President, Paulette Ford, The Forever Ink Project was a positive experience for residents, providing an informative introduction to video production.  “The WeCast Productions videography program has been a fantastic opportunity, utilizing talent among our youth and allowing them to share their creative ideas,” said Ford.  Fifteen-year-old Seyquan Mack added that The Forever Ink Project provided a convenient opportunity to partner with his neighbors.  “I like how we collaborate with each other and we all have different personalities,” said Mack.  “We’re getting to know each other better.”
