Red Sox Scholars Class of 2014 to be Inducted and First College Graduates Celebrated, Sunday, June 1

Ten new Red Sox Scholars were inducted into the program during a ceremony before last Sunday's 1:35 p.m. game against Tampa Bay. The rising 8th graders were joined by many of the 230 other students in the program, including those who are graduating from high school and the first students to graduate from college. The Red Sox Scholars Program, presented by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and run by the team charity, provides mentoring, enrichment activities and college scholarships to academically-talented, financially-disadvantaged students from Boston Public Schools.
