  • On Monday, October 21, “Mondays with Marty,” with a focus on issues important to Boston’s Latino/a community, will take place at the Villa Victoria Center for The Arts in the Main Hall (85 West Newton Street, South End).

  • On Monday, October 28, “Mondays with Marty,” with a focus on issues important to Boston’s veterans and their families, will take place at VFW Post #1018 (500 Morton Street, Dorchester).

  • “Mondays with Marty” is a series of Town Hall Meetings with residents. These events are designed to be an opportunity for Marty to listen to voters’ concerns. They are organized around neighborhoods or constituency groups, and are always free and open to the public.

“I have learned a lot on the campaign trail,” said Walsh, “but these town halls have been especially instructive. They have made me want to be Mayor even more, because I can’t wait to address the concerns of the hundreds of people I’ve met at ‘Mondays with Marty.’”

All of these events will run from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. UMass Boston Political Science Professor Erin O’Brien will moderate the events on October 14 and 21. The moderator for the event on October 28 will be announced at a later date. These are the last three “Mondays with Marty” events before the general election on November 5.

The series has visited Dorchester, Mattapan, East Boston, Charlestown, Back Bay, Roslindale, the North End, Roxbury and West Roxbury. Marty has committed to continuing the series in some form after he is elected Mayor.
