Hosted by Mix 104.1 FM, Faneuil Hall’s famous restaurants, including Cheers, Wagamama, Dick’s Last Resort and Ned Devine’s, will begin the celebration by decorating Mardi Gras inspired floats. The floats will then participate in the Mardi Gras Grand Procession around the Marketplace led by Boston’s very own New Orleans inspired brass band, the Hot Tamales. Salt from the Karson and Kennedy Morning Show on Mix 104.1 FM will emcee the event and judge the floats. The winning restaurant will receive gift cards for each member of its staff. In addition, Mix 104.1 FM will conduct an Instagram contest during the celebration that will give spectators the chance to win a prize by visiting the participating restaurants. The festivities continue with after-parties and restaurant specials at Cheers, Dick’s Last Resort, Ned Devine’s and Wagamama.
