“Hop Into Spring Weekend” at Faneuil Hall Marketplace
Faneuil Hall Marketplace announced today it will be hosting “Hop into Spring Weekend,” a series of free outdoor events on Saturday April 19th and Sunday April 20th. The weekend will kick off with an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 10am, followed by a concert featuring Reverse Order and The Sugarbabies Band at noon. Reverse Order will honor the marathon with their song “Our City,” and a Boston Marathon inspired exhibit will be open all weekend at Best of Boston located in the North Market building. Say goodbye to winter and welcome spring at Faneuil Hall Marketplace!
“Faneuil Hall Marketplace is excited to present its first ‘Hop into Spring Weekend’ with lots of fun, outdoor events! We are also eager to welcome back Reverse Order and The Sugarbabies Band to the Marketplace, who will be performing on Saturday following the Easter egg hunt,” said Carol Troxell, President of Faneuil Hall Merchants Association. “Come down to Faneuil Hall and enjoy the warm weather with outdoor shopping, a great concert and so much more!”

Saturday April 29th
10am-11am- Quincy’s Place
Pick up your basket at Quincy’s Place at 10am to begin the Easter egg hunt. Easter eggs will be hidden around the Marketplace. Three special gift baskets will be awarded. The person who collects the most eggs wins the grand prize basket while the people who find the two extra special golden eggs win additional Easter baskets.

The national touring rock band, Reverse Order, will perform “Our City,” which they wrote to commemorate the Boston Marathon Bombing last year. The will play at Faneuil Hall Marketplace in honor of the first anniversary of the bombing.
The Sugarbabies Band has been rated one of the top party bands for the past three years, and has performed at large events including the 2012 Presidential Election. The Sugarbabies Band is comprised entirely of Berklee scholarship students and alumni who exude youth and energy, while being genuine with legendary music.

Boston: America’s Greatest Marathon Exhibit
10am – 9pm on Saturday, Noon – 6 pm on Sunday - North Market Building at Best of Boston 2nd Floor
An exclusive exhibit detailing the history of The Boston Marathon, with memorabilia and photographs provided by The Sports Museum – Richard Johnson, Curator.
The Boston Marathon is the world’s oldest annual marathon and a treasure trove of historical firsts, fascinating stories and inspirational performances. This FREE exhibit introducing you to the highlights of the history of The Boston Marathon is meant to be a starting point for all ages to learn, understand and appreciate the inspiration of the race.
11:00am-7:00pm
Faneuil Hall stores, including Nine West, Origins, Local Charm, World Cup Boston Soccer Store and L’Attitude Boston Boutique, will be hosting a sidewalk sale to debut the hottest products for spring.
