British Soldiers Fund Hosts Spring Cocktail Reception to Help Support British and American Soldiers, Veterans and their Families

WHAT: The British Soldiers Fund will host a spring cocktail reception on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 to help raise money and awareness for their organization, which provides support and lifetime aid for serving British and American soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need.

The British Soldiers Fund promotes awareness of the needs and challenges that our soldiers and families face and raises funds to provide direct financial support in a variety of ways, including: assisting the wounded, elderly, unemployed, families, children and those dealing with the psychological effects of war.

Board member Simon Boyd will speak about the organization, some of its successes in 2013 and their goals and objectives for 2014.

Complimentary cocktails will be provided by Liquor Land, passed hors d’oeuvre will be provided by Russell House Tavern and Keros Entertainment will supply the live music. The event will also feature a silent auction offering some of Boston’s finest experiential prizes including Boston Celtics tickets and tickets for two on the July 4th sailing of the USS Constitution.
