Jazz at South End Library Tuesday Night

What's a few things worth knowing in the South End on Tuesday, August 13th, 2013?

All That Jazz

On Tuesday night, head to the South End library to hear a live concert featuring jazz and blues music in Library Park. The Charlie Brown Blues Band, a talented, award-winning group of five high school students from the Boston Arts Academy will play starting at 6:30 p.m. 

New Public Art Comes to South End

Starting on August 30th and running until October, you'll notice a new art installation at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza. It's a public arts project that will allow you to tap your Charlie Card to hear some oral history of the area by day, and a lights show at night.  Read here for more information


Free Concert at Hatch Shell

The Boston Landmarks Orchestra will be continuing its performance series Wednesday night with a free concert at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade. The performance will feature the Longwood Symphony, featuring classical favorites. The concert starts at 7 p.m. See here for more information.
