For the 22nd year, The Friends of Hayes Park is hosting a community event to benefit one of the South End's natural treasures. In addition to complimentary food and beverages and the chance to meet neighbors, the event offers both a Silent and Live Auctions.
The Silent Auction will offer more than 70 items -- gift cards for our favorite and new restaurants, eyewear, women's apparel,children's toys and a take-home terrarium class. There will also be fragrance for men, wine baskets and book packages.
Going on the block at the always-energetic Live Auction are 4 Red Sox tickets with parking in upper-level club space, 4 private lessons at the Community Music Center for any age and instrument, a private tour for 8 of any MFA gallery, lunch at the River Rock Farm and 30 lbs. of organic meats to take home, a made-to-order holiday wreath and a homemade paella dinner for 8.
The fun begins at 4pm in the Lobby of the Boston Ballet. Tickets are $15 in advance at www.HayesPark.com or $20 at the door.

More About Boston Ballet Company
The Boston Ballet Company is a ballet school located in the Boston Center for the Arts complex. There are four locations but this one on Clarendon is the headquarters. Students of all ages can attend the school, though there are requirements for placement. The building has studios and lounges for the students as well as physical therapy rooms and weight rooms. There are seven studios in the building. Graduates have gone on to other prestigious ballet schools and performed in famous ballets all over the world.
