The Children’s Program offers an introduction to the art of dance by promoting the exploration of creativity and expression through movement. This program supports the
development and improvement of motor skills and coordination as well as attention and listening skills, as a preparation for continued study of classical ballet.
No previous ballet training is necessary, our Children's Program is based on age, regardless of prior experience. Students must meet the appropriate age requirement by September 1st of the current school year. Enrollment in the Children's Program is ongoing through June. Students may join at any point throughout the school year.

More About Boston Ballet Company
The Boston Ballet Company is a ballet school located in the Boston Center for the Arts complex. There are four locations but this one on Clarendon is the headquarters. Students of all ages can attend the school, though there are requirements for placement. The building has studios and lounges for the students as well as physical therapy rooms and weight rooms. There are seven studios in the building. Graduates have gone on to other prestigious ballet schools and performed in famous ballets all over the world.
