UPDATED: Union Park Stabbing Leaves Man in Critical Condition

A 26-year-old woman was arrested Saturday morning after what police believe was a domestic-related stabbing at a Union Park residence left one man in critical condition.
Soren Capawanna, of Boston, is being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife), according to Boston Police.
Capawanna allegedly stabbed a 29-year-old man at a Union Park Street address at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Emergency medical technicians transported the man to Boston Medical Center. On Saturday, he was listed in critical condition but was expected to survive his injuries, according to police.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the man and Capawanna knew each other, and that it was a domestic incident, police said.
Update (5:15 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6):
-- Capawanna posted bail at the police station, and she is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, Feb. 7, in Boston Municipal Court, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
-- The 29-year-old male victim received a stab wound to the chest area, according to the police report.
-- After collecting the victim’s clothing for evidence, police found a small plastic bag containing a white powder, suspected of being cocaine, in one of the victim’s pant’s pockets, according to the police report.
-- A black-handled Wilsthof kitchen knife was held for evidence by police, according to the police report.
