A new bakery opened this week in the South End while old favorite Pops garnered a new face in Executive Chef Amanda Howell. The Wholy Grain of Bakeries Now Open on Shawmut: The new eatery at 275 Shawmut Ave. is somewhat of a repeat concept started by Hasset’s brothers in Cork, Ireland, where the original Wholy Grain Bakery stands.
