Pet of the Week: Nala the Chow Chow

You can adopt Nala from the Animal Rescue League of Boston in the South End.

Looking to adopt a pet? Now up for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston is Nala.

Nala is a fluffy, quiet 7-year-old Chow Chow who was brought to the shelter due to having a new baby in the home. She can be very shy at first but does approach when her new friend is patient and supportive. She enjoys the company of other low-key dogs. Though she isn't overly playful, she does have bursts of puppy-like energy. Despite her shyness, her best command is "come!" She enjoys walks and shows interest in the squirrels and other small animals. Grooming is a must for this fluffy good-natured lady! Nala is just the right mix of “get-up-and-go” when outside and laziness when inside. It doesn’t get much better than this adorable pup. Come meet her today!

For more information on Nala or any of the other animals currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call 617-226-5602. The Animal Rescue League of Boston is open Tuesday through Thursday 1- 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 1-4 p.m., excluding some holidays.
