How Do We Love Thee, South End? Let's Count The Ways
Add your favorite things about the neighborhood to our incomplete list.
Valentine's Day doesn't just have to be about couples and candy. It's a love holiday, and we all know there's lots to love about the South End.
To start, there's:
- Wally's Cafe, the nation's oldest continually operating jazz club.
- Myer's and Chang, an upscale Asian-fusion restaurant that offers both a gluten-free menu and "Oyster Oblivion" ($1 oysters) on Sunday nights.
- The SOWA Vintage Market, which gives South Enders access to different antique dealers year-round.
- This is where you come in! What do you love about the South End?
Can we get to 10 things we love about the neighborhood? 20?

I love the artist studios and also Picco restaurant: gourmet pizza, good wine and homemade ice cream. How can you go wrong?

I love that the South End is truly a neighborhood. I rarely walk down the street without seeing someone I know...or at least a dog I know!
