District 2 Ballots will be Recounted

Challenger Suzanne Lee's office is requesting a recount of all wards within the district.

A recount will be conducted of the District 2 City Council election results, after just 87 votes propelled incumbent Bill Linehan to over challenger Suzanne Lee.

Lee’s campaign is requesting a recount of all wards within District 2, and will file paperwork today with the city’s election office, according to a press release.

“After seeing just how close the results were and hearing concerns from so many constituents throughout the district, we’re requesting a recount to make certain that every ballot cast for this race has been accounted for, no matter which candidate a voter supported," said Lee.
