Sip and Sample at The Salty Pig’s Board Games
Join General Manager Jillian Rocco and in-house Cheese Guru Anthony Liberti at The Salty Pig, as they teach and treat you to a variety of wine and cheese pairings for their new educational and edible series, Board Games.
During the Sunday evening, gather around the [cheese] boards, decked out with delicacies, whether they be stinky, salty or sweet, and learn about which one of these cheddars, bries and colbys goes best with which wine - and what slice of house-cured prosciutto compliments your favorite sip of chardonnay.
For the first installment of The Salty Pig’s Board Games, enjoy a taste of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany with:
- Pecorino di Pienza Fresca (Sheep’s milk, aged 1 month, Tuscany)
- Pecorino di Pienza Rosso (Sheep’s milk, aged 4 months, Tuscany)
- Parmigiano Reggiano Baruffi (Cow’s milk, aged 3 years, Emilia-Romagna)
- Lambrusco (Emilia-Romagna)
- Vernaccia di San Gimignano (Tuscany)
- Sangiovese/Cabernet Blend (Tuscany)
