ZenConnect, Whole Foods Market at Symphony and Microsoft are hosting a four week Stress-less Holiday series at the Microsoft store in the Prudential Center.

The series will take place at the Microsoft store in the Prudential Center on November 15, November 29, December 5 and December 13 from 8am-8:45am.

“There are so many ways to alleviate stress and this series aims to help community members find the technique(s) that works best for them”, said ZenConnect Principal Stacy Slawitsky. The series will teach participants how to manage holiday stress through meditation, movement, nutrition and will also focus on work/life balance.

To support healthy eating amongst participants, Whole Foods Market at Symphony will give healthy snacks during the presentations and a special gift for participants who come to the store post-presentation.

Holiday stress statistics reported by the American Psychological Association show that up to 69% of people are stressed by the feeling of having a “lack of time”, 69% are stressed by perceiving a “lack of money”, and 51% feel stressed out over the “pressure to give or get gifts”.

“Holiday stress is not so bad if we know how to manage it and it is great to have the support of these great local companies to educate community members on how to get there,” says Slawitsky.
